How much does it cost to install Smartports on my property?

Smartports is installed in most cases at no cost to you as the property owner. You are only responsible for a small upfront fee, which depends on the size and location of the project. We take care of the rest, from planning and installation to operation and maintenance.

Who can apply for Smartports?

We work exclusively with business customers who own their land. This may include property owners, retail parks, hotels, office buildings, sports facilities, or other commercial properties.

What do I get as a property owner?

You provide EV charging for your visitors, improve your energy performance rating, increase the attractiveness of your location, and contribute to broader sustainability goals. In addition, you gain a solution that provides shade, protection, and an aesthetic enhancement to your parking environment.

How long does the installation take?

An installation typically takes around 3 weeks, depending on the scope of the project and the conditions of the site. All design and planning are managed by our team.

Do I need to apply for a building permit?

We take care of the entire process. In most cases, a building permit is required, and we handle all the paperwork and coordination with the local authorities.

What type of charger is included?

We use some of the most reliable EV chargers on the market. Each Smartport includes the option of a charging point mounted 1.5 meters above ground level with smart control and management features.

How much electricity is generated?

Each parking space equipped with a PAC generates approximately 3,200 kWh of electricity per year, depending on solar irradiation and location. This corresponds to around 18,500 kilometers (11,500 miles) of electric vehicle driving per parking space, more than a full year of typical commuting for most people.

Can I choose where the Smartports will be located on my property?

Yes, we always carry out a site assessment with you to determine where the solution will deliver the greatest benefit while having the least possible impact on your property and operations.

Do I need to do anything after the installation?

No, Smartports is fully automated and remotely monitored. We take care of all operations, support, and maintenance.
