More than form and function – our philosophy in every detail

Smartports are the result of a conscious choice to never compromise with either quality, function or aesthetics. From the first sketch to the finished installation, every line, choice of material and technical component has been chosen with the greatest care. We believe that technology and architecture can work together, not just exist side by side. That is why we strive for each Smartport to be more than a product – it must be an architectural statement, a functional energy solution and a clear contribution to a more sustainable world.

It’s not about balancing design against sustainability – but seeing them as two sides of the same coin. Our vision is to create solutions where form and responsibility go hand in hand, where the user experience is not sacrificed at the expense of technology and where the demands of the future are already part of today’s reality.

We believe that really good design makes a difference – not just in how something looks, but in how it works and how it makes people feel. Our design is based on principles of clarity, simplicity and long-term beauty. We avoid temporary trends and instead focus on an aesthetic that is clean, modern and relevant both today and tomorrow.

The design is stripped down but thought out down to the smallest detail, with the ambition to blend seamlessly into city centres, business parks, commercial areas and rural environments. It signals the future and technology, while at the same time instilling safety, accessibility and calm.

We have integrated solutions such as hidden cable runs and discreetly placed charging boxes, all to minimize visual disturbance and maximize ease of use. The patented construction gives a smooth impression, while minimizing the impact on the ground – both physically and visually. The result is a place that works for both electric cars and people, and where every choice is made with both heart and brain.

The design is therefore not only about the exterior – it carries a whole story about sustainable technology, good architecture and concern for the user.

Smartports are manufactured in Europe, with short supply chains and clear traceability.
Our steel is fossil-free or carbon dioxide-reduced and comes from some of the world’s most
responsible producers. This is not only a sustainable choice –
it is a future-proofed one.

We produce renewable electricity directly on site through highly efficient solar panels. These convert parking areas into energy sources that both charge electric cars and reduce the need for fossil electricity in the grid. Through our charging solutions, we promote access to reliable and modern energy, regardless of where in the country the customer is.

Goal 9: Sustainable industry, innovations and infrastructure

By transforming existing infrastructure – such as traditional parking lots – into innovative energy hubs, we enable a more resilient and efficient societal structure. We develop and use technologies that integrate energy storage, solar power and charging in a modular and scalable way.

Goal 13: Combat climate change

Through local energy production, energy efficiency and support for the electrification of the transport sector, we reduce the climate impact in practice. Our facilities help both private actors and municipalities to contribute concretely to reduced emissions.

Goal 15: Ecosystems and biodiversity

By reusing already exploited land for solar energy production, we avoid burdening new natural areas. In this way, we protect biological diversity and valuable ecosystems, while meeting energy challenges in a responsible way.

We collaborate with landowners, municipalities, energy companies and technology partners to accelerate the transition. Through long-term partnerships, we create scalable and measurable solutions that benefit both business benefit and the climate.
